Sarilhos Pequenos is located in the municipality of Moita, Setúbal. It is approx. 3,79 km of area and 2049 inhabitants (Density: 276,8 hab/km 2001). Historically its football club, 1º de Maio Futebol Clube Sarilhense, has been known for producing some of the greatest football players in the world. Its humble, yet industrious inhabitants welcome visitors and tourists on an annual basis.
The most noted figure of this village is former football star Manuel Fernandes, of the Sporting Club of Portugal and the Portuguese Selecção and current coach of Vitória F.C.
